That you work, I wouldn't suggest it if you are anywhere near some companions though. I would personally take as many of them with me as I could, you can't really help anyone after being bit except by decreasing the numbers that they have to fight.

McSkullcracken: If I became infected, I would try to be of as much use to my fellow survivors/group mates as possible. I would stall/distract a group of zombies if they were after us, kill as many as possible in any case, possibly suicide bomb a large group. Whatever I could do with the time I had left.

bLaZeMaN94: shoot as many as i could and save the last shot for myself

TheTrooper671: I would play Free Bird blaring out of a bunch of amps on top of my base with an electric guitar (even though I can't play) and wait for them to reach me during the guitar solo and when they come near I start shooting at them with an AK strapped to my guitar and whenever i start playing fast it fires more and more rounds till I'm all out and start swinging away that axe. Then I pull the switch for all the C-4 placed around the building.
