Watch
your fort has a good start. here are my initial critiques.
first off: is that a double wide ramp to the catwalk I am seeing? why??? it is as wide as the gate... are you going to crane lift vehicles onto the roof, then drive them up the ramp?
seriously... you have a decent basis, but first. the storerooms should be the greater portion of the fort, and should be protected from fire or enemy access. remember a siege mentality. you could have to live cut off from fresh supplies for an extended period. consider digging in and making a basement to each building, ALL of which are storage.
your towers are a sampler of sizes. what value does this hold? or was it just drawing different sizes?
command and utility? do you realy want the building you are trying to make plans and communicate in be the same one you have loaded up with generator, well pumps, etc?
speaking of generator, are you planning on using a petroleum generator as your power source for the fort? if so, where is your fuel storage? if not, what is your plan for alternative power?
what about food production? might I suggest planning on making hydroponic or raised bed green houses inside the fort, as well as maybe an area for a few small animals...
and those gates... they are huge and thin, if I where raiding you, it would not take much to drive you into the fort, then either wait till you are starved and willing to surrender, or just bash a truck through the gate and bring fighting fighting.
and if cousin zed is laying siege, you will definitely need to address the long term issues mentioned above.
now... when you revise your plans, try using graph paper with a scale of 1 sq = 1 foot on 10sq per inch paper.

plan your outer walls 3-6' thick if not more. plan all doors between 2.5 and 3 feet wide plan your gate between 8 and 10 feet wide plan all building walls 2 feet thick or more as there are several alternative construction methods ranging from straw bale to rammed earth to adobe that will all have 2'-3' thick walls. address some of the issues above. if using alternative power sources (such as wind turbine) it would be easy to add them to the corners above your towers. speaking of tall towers. tall towers are only useful if using them as lookout posts. getting above the tree line will allow you to see a camp fire miles and miles away, but your colony dogs will likely spot the approaching zeds/strangers before your watch towers during day light. on the other hand a tall tower is harder to engineer and more likely to topple. stick to one story above your walls for all of them. it will do the job.
if you like I can really get into a rant on the ins and outs of the architecture of castles and forts as well as how to provide for their utilities, safety, and long term survivability.
