nice grouping with that Nagant. I have one made in China that I love, It is ugly as all hell but it fires true. Do you find this valuable?

Thanks! My M91/30 is an ex-sniper with a 98% bore. I've also done a little bit of work to eek out a little more accuracy out of her. I've bedded the action with strategically-placed homemade removable bedding strips, fully floated the barrel, and I've shimmed and lightly polished the trigger to reduce play and pull weight.

In the future and when funds allow, I plan on redoing the crown as there are a few nicks in it here and there and replacing the stock trigger with a Huber Concepts or Timney trigger. I'm also using this rifle as the platform for my sniper project, if and when I can finally get that going!

I have always wanted to do a sniper projet on a SMLE, but I have way too many irons in the fire to start another. I have to do the paying projects before I do my own. My wife and I have an agreement what ever I make on weapon projects I spend on gear and weapons. So I line up a bunch of projects for the summer and spend it in the winter. Yep, I hear ya! I've got the same problem regarding projects - between Judo, school, backpacking and camping and my shooting addiction, I've got so little time and money left to play with! C'est la vie, lol.

I think the SMLE would be a great platform for a sniper build, especially if you can find one of the Ishapore .308 rifles and a few magazines that work for it - but any of them would do the job! I think another cool build would be to take one of those Swiss K-31 rifles and mount some optics up to it.
