My plan its almost full proof
My Plan:
My location: Redding ,Californian
First Thing I would do is prepare. Really you can't just automatically have gas food water and guns. And in the middle of a zombie outbreak the panic will last for a while (it all depends on what kinda zombie) so the gun store will be empty or lots of riots going on. So right now I have gas tanks stocked up, tons fo 5 gallon buckets of water and a couple of guns; this is all just to start me off. In the midst of the panic the best place to be is in your home, unless you already took over whatever location you decided to hold out in. After the initial panic is gone and most people are zombies. Make sure your geared up and ready to go. I would then grab some close friends and setup a hq. This is a tough decision for most but i think i have it down...COSTCO. Look it has food tall racks for barricades, medicine, and enough electronics. The only thing is lacks is guns, but again preparation is the key. So after we have setup base we begin the search for survivors. First we start with a small convoy and patrol the city. We will recruit as many people as we can for deffence and search units. Im not the teaming up type but there is strength in numbers. I will have no more than 30 people with me. So anyone in Nor cal. that is unsure what to do i suggest you rendezvous with us at the Costco In Redding. Address:Station is accessible Not true? Show all edits Not true?
Placement on map is approximate 1300 Dana Drive Redding, CA 96003 You will be able to identify me because I will be wearing jeans and flannel (most likely red) and the Costco will have a banner similar to the confederate flags scheme except not a red base color but black instead. so i encourage you to join me if you live in nor cal.

Ground Zero
So ideally, if there was a zombie invasion we would hear about it immediately, set up our route of escape, get all our gear and execute our survival plan. Sometimes though, there is just no planning for a surprise attack, you could be on vacation, a work related travel, or even out and about your daily routine. What if where you were was ground zero? "the initial infection" Your prepared gear, mode of transportation, and friends, were miles away. Looting for a weapon and food might be harder than expected as people would board up their shops and barricade themselves.
Any thoughts on an emergency back up plan for these situations?
