The Limits of Your Moral EnduranceSo I've been reading about General Shiro Ishii's Unit 731 and the atrocities commited by them against political prisoners and innocent people and I have small scenario for you.
It has been 3 years since The Rise and while most of the zombies have migrated elsewhere the risk is ever present.
Having been forced to quickly abandon your bug out location due to unforseen events you and your spouse find yourself running on low supplies. You are both capable hunters but find game running scarce.
You happen upon a community in a rebuilt prison and are both welcomed due to your skills as a mechanic and her skills as a nurse.
While the area is guarded nothing stands out as odd.
For the next 3 months you find that the group is fairly well off and is able to sustain itself on supplies from the fenced in areas.
The person helping you fix a vehicle needs a part that isn;t on hand and directs you to the basement level where parts are stored.
Even though you don't know the basement that well you go past what appear to be meat lockers and upon seeing what looks like a supply room you go inside.
Inside you find two bodies strapped to tables. One is a middle aged woman and the other a young boy.
Both have had their torsos opened with surgical precision but appear to be alive.
You rush back out of the room and to the other mechanic and cover up what you saw.
A few days pass and no one mentions the room to you or your spouse.
