Good Loudouts
I know enough (I think) about weapon individualy, but I'm not sue what weapons make a good combo.
Example, I love, or think I might although I don't really have experience with them, both the SKS and Five-Seven, but would they work well together. Or maybe the AR-15 and the 1911 What about melee. Would a hatchet go weel with either combo. What are some other good combos and why. Would SKS and 1911 or AR-15 and Five-Seven be better? Tell me what you think. (These are just the first couple combos I thought of.

What do you think. I think it is a great thing to have. It can hold all the things you need to go short range without making you look like a freak with pockets full of knives and fire starters.

Don't Pack Your Bug Out Bag Like an Old Lady.
The biggest mistake most preppers make when packing a bug out bag is putting everything in there but the kitchen sink. I'm a l-o-n-g, long way from reading everyone's list of gear so I can't make assumptions about this site but I thought I'd throw it out there in my first thread.
First off, 72 hours means 72 hours. Thats 3 days for any of you public school graduates. Thats what most SHTF prep sites will tell you to pack for and I consider a zombie outbreak a pretty big (though un-likely) pile of **** hitting the fan.
There is no need to pack your bag like an old lady packs her purse.
Just the basics, thats all you need: A knife, water-proof matches, a change of underwear/socks, water purification device, nine energy bars, rain gear, a big wool blanket and some previous survival training and you'll almost have packed too much.
If you knew all these things before you opened the thread please ignore. If you didn't, its about time you learned that over-packing is just asking for failure.

Blank Firing Weapons?
what about blank firing guns? ive been on army cadet camps and we use SA80s with Blank Firing Adaptors.they took it off and shot it at an apple 3 m away and the apple turned into mush. what about a zed? their flesh would be decomposing and less dense, headshot kill? the GSR(gun shot residue-cordite/gunpowder) would surely penetrate flesh and cause injury.
