My bug out locations
My bug out locations for a zombie outbreak are
1- school- some place big enough for multiple families and plenty of storage
2- academy- i will be trying to get in academy with the other survivors of my town but its worth the shot
3- walmart- most likely the first place to be robbed
4- ranch- a long drive but is out of highly populated areas and has plenty of room and lots of cows

Martial Arts
What is your opinion regarding Martial Arts in a zombie apocalypse?
If you wear thick clothing, it can be very useful.....imagine a muay thai elbow to a decomposing head....
I've been training with material from a martial arts blog (taekwondousa.blogspot.com) and some mma lessons (mostly muay thai and bjj) and am ready to kick some ass on z-day!
maybe i'm too overconfident, but at least i'll have training lol
i want to learn boxing next and then Filipino knife fighting

I've been a lurker for some time & want to let this learned forum know about the release of my new book The Official Zombie Handbook UK through Severed Press.

I read the info on here on the Zombie Survival Guide - mine is a different take - more survival, less comic, more content-driven. Also, focus is mainly on a disaster in the UK but applies to any city really or urbanised environment

I have looked at developing a 90-Day Survival Plan for the average Briton but the plan will work just as well in any country which has few fire arms. It includes water, food etc...
It's taken nearly 3 years of research looking at everything from London's emergency plans to the price of the used whaler...
I cover all of the home fortification & weapons stuff as well.

Look, if you don't have a gun, don't go looking. Instead, get a truck (running over is usually instant brain death), grab a baseball bat (or any bat , or golf club), and get moving.If you know someone with a gun, make your way to them. AVOID GUN STORES.

forest fortress
I plan to have a fortress in the woods. My bro and I have a lot of tin, and wooden siding, plates, etc. I am working on the 3d model of it. At first, it will be a simple fort- hang on i gtg take a ****.....ok so asimple fort made of wood and tin pl8ing around four trees that are in a square pretty much. There will be a sleeping tent, a fire pit, rain collector, and such. After awhile it will expand to a very large fort with medic tents, armory, etc.
