Dec 3 2007, 1:00 AM EST Sure, there are tons of bad zombie movies out there. In fact, most of them are bad. But the remake of Dawn of the Dead and the Lucio Fulci stinkfest, Zombie, stand out as notably underwhelming. The Dawn remake made the zombies way too quick and almost not really zombies, the atmosphere was never creepy, the lighting was bad, the zombie kills were unbelievable (really? - no, like shotguns from 40 feet, come on)... it just didn't need to be made. And Fulci's Zombie was so hyped up, and then sucked so bad. The makeup was terrible. The music sucked. Again, not even a whisper of a creepy atmosphere. But hey, not all bad... the nudity was very nice and a couple of the kills were really gross. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
