Legion12	3. RE: What weapons Would you Prefer in a Zombie apocalypse Apr 12 2008, 10:51 AM EDT I think everyone has the idea to pick one weapon system and thats all there is ex. AK vs. M-4. My plan is to have your main weapon, my case a AK, but also have others. .22 for small game hunting, shotgun mainly 12 gauge, bolt action riles and diffrent pistols. Side arm - .357mag w/ hollow points or .45 (preferably revolvers) Bludgeon - Crow Bar (can also be used as a tool). *I like to keep it to weapons I know, and that I could easily replenish. Heckler & Koch- MP5 SD 4. Taurus- Raging Bull (444 Model + 44 Magnum cal)/ Magnum Research - Desert Eagel .50 5. My Wakizashi (The middle sword in a samurai set, made for one handed fights in small areas, therefore i feel its better than a Katana as even novice sword handelers can use it.) 6. Fortified; 50BMG, 458 Lott, .338mag, 243, SKS and FIRE (improvised napalm/flamethrower) On foot; DPMS AR10 - short barrel, Kel-Tec sub 2000 .40 or 9mm, Glock in same caliber, improvised fire weapon, machete. Realistic: Izhmash AK-101 (Preferred over the AN-94 due to simplicity, availability, and removal of the unnecessary burst mode.) with tritium night sights Springfield Armory M1911A1 with tritium night sights. If a Hooligan bar is unobtainable, I'm thinking a modified 3' mace with a round, 3.5lb. orb, 6" of metal (sloped like a 70/20 right triangle) extending beyond the top of the orb, and a rubberised grip. A good swing could easily crush a human skull, crack a knee, etc., and won't get stuck in bone like a machete or katana with a half-assed swing, and the top can be used as a pry bar or stabbing implement or spear. 7" carbon steel, smooth bladed KA-BAR utility knife.
