Australia
Jan 3 2008, 1:25 AM EST We win. we have more sports stores than ANYONE else. Baseball bats, Cricket bats, Golf Clubs, Hockey sticks. we have them all in almost inexhaustable supply. In my local mall, I know of two large sports stores, plus K-Mart, Meyers, Woolworths, Coles, Liquorland, Dan Murphy's (Booze) and and an incredibly large hardware store nearby. We are set for Z-Day. 5 out of 16 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 11 2008, 2:17 PM EST but in America we have gun stores, and a .22 rifile is a hell of a lot more effective than a base ball bat. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Australia
Jan 11 2008, 10:52 PM EST The USA also has more apocalypse nuts that now own old nuclear missile silos, bunkers, underground fortresses and organized militias. The fact that "old Nuclear missile silos," is a term used in the sates shows how survival oriented we are. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Australia
Jan 11 2008, 10:58 PM EST The reson the US would win is that one man alone that could stop the zombalypse and he (a fine American Citizen) is Chuck Norris. With the shockwave from one roundhouse kick, Chuck Norris can kick the heads off one hundred zombies. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Australia
Jan 12 2008, 2:55 AM EST If Chuck Norris were to be listed as a weapon, would he go under the Fictional Weapoons & Gear page or the normal one (yes, I know the man does exist, but there are many things that he supposedly can do that are beyond human capability)? Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Australia
Jan 22 2008, 11:10 PM EST As much as some of us would like to list Chuck Norris as a weapon... I don't think we can... he is a person and as such is only manipulatable not weildable.... Although no man manipulates Chuck Norris. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What about Ireland?
Feb 18 2008, 3:04 AM EST What about Ireland? Over here we have a limitless supply of Whiskey, Beer, Guiness, Liqour etc. You probably won't be able to kill a zombie, but there is a pub every two miles to celebrate the apocalypse Do you find this valuable? |

RE: What about Ireland?
Feb 18 2008, 4:50 PM EST And the current population is only 4,109,086 people. Compared to Australia's 20,434,176 Ireland's size is just below 84, 000 sq. km Australias size is 149,450,000 sq. km In Australia you will encounter, 0.13672918032786885254901639344262 of a zombie per square km, hardly exciting inmy opinion. In Ireland howver, you will encounter 48.91769047619047619047619047619 zombies per sq. km, much more fun, or at least it would be if Ireland had a military force. The best thing an Irishman is ever likely to see during a zombie invasion would be the double-barrelled shotgun. I also doubt the Irish military could even contain a small infestation of zombies, as they only have one operational war plane and half a dozen tanks. with 800 trained fighting men. I now conclude that nothing will change in Ireland after the zombie invasion is over, you will mistake the zombies local drunks, the army would go unnoticed whether it was about or not, and we will still have the most lively time with over 41 zombies per sq. km. Drink up lads!!! ;-) Do you find this valuable? |

RE: What about Ireland?
Feb 21 2008, 12:38 AM EST OK, in this debate between Ireland and Australia, I would bet on Australia fairing better in a zombie apocalypse. 1. It is simply a larger land mass with more places to hide. 2. Because the population is mainly on the coast, inland would be empty of zombies(mostly and at first) allowing the living to regroup and plan out the retaking of the continent. 3. Australia and Ireland are both isolated by water, but Australia is much farther away from other populated land masses. Sooo.... zombies are less likely to make it there by sea. And I believe infected people could more easily make it to Ireland and start up a zombie population there. 4. To my knowledge( I am not an expert!) Australia has more guns and a larger military than Ireland. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: What about Ireland?
Feb 21 2008, 2:01 AM EST Yeah, I think we have a bigger military than ireland and we do have a lot of guns, I knew some who owned 10-15 guns , he lived alone. Around half a dozen guns each usually, most people had shotguns, rifles and more Do you find this valuable? |
