Shoot, shoot, and shoot some more! :) Shoot at their heads. Shoot as fast as possible. Skip searching for weapons and concentrate on searching for survivors till there are seven of you, then STILL don't worry about weapons, just keep the wall repaired.

Great game!

It's quite simple really. To kill of the zombies with relative ease, take headshots. Headshots are most accurate when your character is standing level to the zombie. Spend the first day or two, gathering survivors, as they help defend the base and increase the repair rate and weapon-search rate. Once you get about 4 survivors (including yourself), split your time equally between searching for weapons and searching for survivors. Keep your barricade health at 80% at least. That should guarantee your survival of the first few levels. 4  out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

Ok, I havent played in a while, but im just gonna post, beat that game agein, and this time ill submit a bunch of hints, and maybe make a guide. For the first few days, just get more peopple, and then youll probaly get the revolver before 7 peopple, if not, repair the building before you look for more weapons. Once you get the revolver, youve got your weps, and you got your place fully healed, start looking for weapons. Nothing else, and if you lose a persone, just put 4 to 6 hours to get that persone, or 8 for 2. Keep looking for weapons, and if you lose a persone, put another on, if you get as low as about 80 to 70, fully repair. My sugestion is keep a fast and powerfull weapon, like a shotgun and a m-16. Dont use the chainsaw, its a bad weapon unless you use it just right. For dogs, shoot the fast and acurate weapons and take em out fast. For peopple with helmets, aim for the legs. For peopple with chest -pads, the head, and for peopple with helmets and chest armor, shoot out the legs with the fast and acurate weapon. Try and get good at making headshots, and dont forget to keep your persone moving with your mouse to get a clear shot. Also, focus on the one closest or fastest. If one gets on the wall, blow the bastard to peices. If a bunch get on the wall, take our your close or most powerfull weapon, and shoot till it runs, but dont use the last bullet, then take out the other one. Shoot until it runs out and they should be of the wall. Post back if this stuff helps. 3  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

well my strategy that got me to beat the game was to always have your barricade at full, then go for survivors and weapons equally. my ending combo was shotgun/chainsaw because i had almost no survivors that chainsaw got a lot of use :(

anyway thats how i beat it.

Ok, I just played it agein, and im working on a guide. Here are a few tips for now
1. Keep shooting, dont stop, even if you dont got a clear shot at the head
2. When your reloading, keep shooting, it will sometimes chop the reload proscess in half
3. Move when you shoot, this gives you a clear shot. Im so good at this point, I dont even notice when I move.
4. ALWAYS have all your team mates. I can take on the entire level 20 with the handgun and revolver IF I have my teamates.
Hope this helps, when I get my guide built ill give you the url.

The shotgun and chainsaw teqnique is good, but if you your losing your health and need to repair, your going into what I call a slump
You need to get the men, then you can get alot more stuff done.
A note on the chainsaw
If you use this weapon, it CAN be like the most powerfull weapon in the game, but you have to use it just right. You keep shooting the ones in the front with the gun you have, then when one gets on the wall, or you see a runner aproaching, position yourself on that spot and continue shooting at others. When he hits the wall take it out at the same second, turn the thing on full blast and aim at his head, then when he gos down take the gun out immediantly and continue to shoot. This can be a good way to get off straglers, straglers meaning ones that you cant get a good shot at, you have to take 10 seconds to kill him, and now all the others are on the wall.

The Next Step: once you've mastered the 20 levels, try ONLY using the 1st pistol you get, don't upgrade to better weapons. Once you have that down, don't repair the wall anymore. Once you have that down (good luck!), use a smaller team. If you can do all 20 levels with the pistol only, no wall repair, and only 5 survivors (including you), you rule! Have fun. 2  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

I agree, ZK. That's the problem with flash games, they just don't have a lot of depth. Anyone find other awesome zombie-killin games for us to obsess over? 1  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

While it's good to have teammates with you in The Last Stand, I prefer to have guns.
Here's what I do.
Spend all of your time searching for weapons. If your base is damaged, split the time for searching with repairing.
Forget about any survivors.
What really matters is weapon choices. Depending on what you have, you should get a high powered weapon, and a weapon that can reload fast.
I generally use a hunting rifle with a chainsaw.
Eventually you will get the barret sniper rifle.
That thing is an automatic sniper rifle and reloads instantly. Sure makes killing the undead fun.
