Come the zombpacalypse, any book on survival will be useful. Of course, Brooks' book has the most info on the specific danger. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

I hate to burst your bubble, but mr. max brooks admits that the whole book was a joke.

i can give you a link to my source if requested.

Either way, you gut instinct is your 1st line of defence, always trust it.

Even if it is false that he was joking when he made the guide, there is still some interesting stuff about him in there.

Considering I found my copy in the Humor section of Barnes& Noble's, I'm not surprised. Considering the subject matter, why not have a comedy writer do the leg work, we already know the Truth, Don't We ;)

Gees, don't you know that the Zombie Survival Guide is a fake book, and just to let you know, it is a humor book, and is also fiction, meaning funny and not real. So when you think your ready because you took a humorous book that isn't real, I'll probably be killing you if there ever is a zombpacalypse.

(There probably never be a zombpacalypse. Hate to burst your guy's bubble)

yeah it might be fake im not saying its real im just saying he has never said that the book is fake. i mean if he really thought it was fake wouldnt he tell those people not to take it seriously but he never does instead he goes to colleges telling people more about it. just because its humerous doesnt mean anything i mean that daily show with john setart is humerous but its comedy on real things in life. I keep all of my Zompocolypse books in one place, close at hand. I even have a copy of "Field Guide to the Apocaplyse" there, for good measure. You never know when they will come in handy.

A better option is a military survival, booby trap, first aid, jungle warfare, and urban warfare manuals. All are readily available here in the U.S. through many mail order sources.

Max Brooks book is an interesting read, but not a true survival guide by any means. it would make good fire starter or anal wipe.
