wouldn't it be possible for the virus(in the right conditions) to spread beyond the brain into the flesh? this would create an infested zombie potentially wouldn't it? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

The virus is largely assumed to only be able to inhabit a live brain. It is a very specialized virus that is also, presumably, immune to mutation and evolution. Do you find this valuable?

Well if that was true that the virus ONLY infected the brain than how is it we assume, that the virus can spread through saliva. In your suggestion the virus could only spread by being exposed to fluids from the infected brain. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I didn't think about that but yeah if it truly does only infect the brain why do we also assume it is passed through blood. Do you find this valuable?
