"3" Types
Feb 16 2008, 5:50 PM EST This system is similar to the D&D alignment system in that it has multiple axis. It operates on the assumption that the important zombie divisions are speed, detection capabilities, and thinking ability. Axis 1 (Speed) Type 1 - Slow. Someone would need to lose all leg function for these to catch up. Type 2 - Medium. They can keep up with you unless you run. Type 3 - Fast. They could pace a car. Axis 2 (Detection Capabilities) Type A - They can't find you without direct line of sight. Out of sight, out of mind. Type B - They can hear/smell you. You need distance to break away effectively but they won't be tracking you far. Type C - ESP. They know where you are, period. They only way to escape is to kill them all or find a natural (or manmade) barrier they cannot cross. Axis 3 (Brains) Type i - Braindead. Runs repeatedly into that glass door in front of the store. Type ii - Animal intelligence. Think cat or dog. Type iii - Average intelligence. Can probably open doors and equivalent level tasks. Type iv - Human level intelligence. Type v - Bonus intelligence. When they were bitten they got SMARTER. Classification is written like 1Ai (Slow, line of sight, idiots). 20 out of 22 found this valuable. Do you? |
