I live in the pacific northwest and I need something a lot large than a .22 if I am hunting for food. State law is that the bullet has to be at least a .30 caliber. If I am trying to drop a deer of a bull elk a 400 yards i want something big like a .300 winchester mag. It can mean eating or not eating. Do you find this valuable?

Mp7s are great in video games, but they're not realistic in any way, and none are pre-86 that I've heard of. Do you find this valuable?

Although this is a HUGE necro, I'll bite.

I'm not a big fan of the MP7 for one reason: the ammunition. It'd be hard as HELL to find 4.6X30 ammunition post-SHTF Also, as BTB said, none are pre-86, which makes acquiring them really difficult.

A few Canadians have the MP7, IIRC. As far as actual weapons go, ammo is rare, and it has minimal stopping power. PDWs like the MP7, P90 and such have always been used on fully automatic to compensate on poor ballistics shot-to-shot and maximize the advantage their controllable recoil offers. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. A P90 will give you the same capabilities as an MP7, with ammo that you can actually find in stores. Do you find this valuable?

If only the 7.62 Tok was still really cheap; it'd outshine both of 'em.

A number of US law enforcement agencies use the P90 for SWAT teams, in addition to the Secret Service. From what they say, it's best used on fully automatic. The MP7 is a good deal rarer, being mostly used by the Germans, but assume, being a similar weapon it would be treated much the same.

I think John 234 said that a few canucks have them. lol

Now the PPS43 in 7.62X25 is a good small carbine like pistol weapon system. Ive shot them with a single point sling and a red dot sight. Shoots sweet and low recoil impulses makes manhandling such a large pistol easier and controlable.

Can buy from R Guns thw pistol, two point sling, ammo mag pouch, 5 mags, & cleaning kit for around $400. I dont know if they have ammo but its common.

Or you can go after a pistol caliber carbine. Just match it up with your pistol caliber.
