I dont own a radio like that. Could someone tell me where I could find one and how much it would cost? 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Not sure about costs but I do know that the FCC regulates HAM radios and you need to get either a General or Technicians license to be able to operate in High frequency and Very/Ultra high frequency. No idea which license goes with which frequencies but that's just a little tidbit I picked up somewhere.

No idea about CBs though.

So basically a post to say I don't know anything...god im bored.

It is ok. I am bored too. It is good to know about the other stuff though. If I cant get a government job after college, I will try to do stuff with the radio. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
