How would that work on one? Would they get froze on the circuit or just keep going because they cant feel?

If you had enough voltage flowing into the zombie it would be possible to elecrocute them, or to simply fry their brain to the point that it cannot function. But you would need a large enough voltage to kill the brain. I believe they use(d) 2000V(olts) to execute in the electric chair, but that stopped the heart and lungs. To sufficiently damage the brain may require more.

It could also mess with motor response of the nerves

electricity doesn disable through pain it paralyzes you because it causes your muscles to sieze, they take electric signals from the brain and the electricity is overloading them, im a dont know about the 50Kv thing, we have that much power running through our HVPS on our radar, but i wouldnt wanna touch itsincerly Electronics technician Seaman Schlegel USN Do you find this valuable? |

something like an electrified fence or wire would likey short out pretty darn fast with zombies running into it. one every now and then would likely be ok (if you could put out the amps to cause damage) but if you had say a dozen or more all getting hit and grounding out the line it would either burn out catch fire. I would love to see a tesla coil lightning rod type weapon that could zip zap them one by one but your talking alot of current and alot of tech.

I do not know much about high voltage, but the grounding thought Dveramali brought up may be a consern. The electric fence I had to keep our cows in worked great untill one learned to short it out. She would hit it with her head snagging it on to the grounded fence that was near by. Then she'd run down past the short and go through my fence with all her buddies in tow.
