Trapping
Mar 31 2008, 11:30 PM EDT Don't forget trapping as a way of obtaining protein. Trap pigeons in the city, also rats, mice, etc. Don't have to worry about feeding them, just lure them in. They will probably be over-running the place anyway. Wonder if they would eat Zed? 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Trapping
Mar 31 2008, 11:34 PM EDT About eating Zeds,I thought the same thing about flys. Seems to me with all the dead walking around you wouldn't be able to breath for all the flys. Maybe animals avoid them a food. Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 11 2008, 11:51 AM EDT And Zed flesh is toxic and/or an infecting agent, so no roasting your targets. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Trapping
Jul 7 2008, 12:17 PM EDT I would not recommend trapping, since all animals are potential disease carriers, especially rodents and birds. I would stick with a good chicken, but killing and cleaning and cooking it will be a heavy problem... Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Trapping
Jul 8 2008, 9:52 AM EDT "I would not recommend trapping, since all animals are potential disease carriers, especially rodents and birds.Trapping would be less dangerous than hunting, you would be able to examine your catch while still alive to see if it looked diseased and it would take less of your time and energy. Anyone have suggestions on where someone could practice killing and preparing an animal for food? Biting the heads off chickens does not count. Do you find this valuable? |
