Look, guys, I think if the world was going to end, it had its chance during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Thanks to people like Romero, along with ourselves, zombies are survivable.

$20 says the world wolnt end in 2012. if that superasteroidplanet does come close in orbit, we could simply send a nuke to it and blow it off course.

I can't understand what you are all worried about with the end of the world. Worrying in the end does you no good, with most of this shit death is an inevitability, you can't survive a 70 year nuclear winter, you can't survive a comet impact, you may survive the nuclear strikes but that rads from the fallout will kill you.if the world ends it ends, as far as minor catastrophes go, keep the correct tools and supplies on hand and you'll do just fine. a little know-how never hurts either. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. True just like 8 years ago I stood outside waiting to see the mushroom cloud caused by Y2K. I was fortunately disappointed, but then I realized that it could have happened. We have no concept of the mechanations of the universe. Nostradumus could hvae predicted the events of a another world similar to ours. Just b/c he made the predictions on this earth doesn't mean they ALL apply to us. The Aztecs may have simply miscounted the stars. But we will never know until it's too late. So we need to take the time we have now to not only prepare but to make the most of what we have and the time left we have to spend it. I can't think of a greater mental anguish then to be fighting for my life against the Hordes and relaizing that I waited until Doomsday to see the value and beauty of the world we are in. We should take these predictions with a grain of salt, but we cannot cast them to the way side just b/c they sound ridculous. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
