"My brother has a M2 .50 cal tripod mounted machine gun, but it's semi-auto to avoid the class III license. He also has 15 Ar-15s. Some assembled, most in parts but they can be thrown together quickly. We have all the armorer's tools to install gas tubes and check head spacing. Tons and tons of 5.56 ammo bought in sealed steel containers, Israeli and South African manufacture. All good stuff. Too many pistols to list. Aside from all that one of my favorite rifles is a good old cheap .22 magnum. The ammo is dirt cheap and when you mate it with a good but inexpensive scope you have yourself with a nice little rifle for splitting heads like melons from a safe distance. Much better ballistics than a .22LR and it's still cheap and easy to pack.

What would be really helpful, but have been long retired, is a flame thrower. Twice a year at the Knob Creek Gun Range right down the road they have a huge machine gun shoot and military weapons show. You can rent or buy one of these. They're quite awesome. Pricey, I'm sure. You can rent machine guns there year round if you've never shot one and if you hang out there and get to know people you can always find a fellow enthusiast that'll let you run your own ammo through his select fire weapon. Helps to have a cute chick with you."
