Apr 21 2008, 11:13 PM EDT Thank you for the ideas, I had to work from scratch because my original draft was lost. It has also been brought to my attention about the house itself. I was thinking more about your own personal home. Because if you live in a ranch home your strategy would be different than if you lived in an apartment on the 3rd floor. So my apologies for the lack of detail. I will add in certain things that I have failed to add to the list, such as nails and such that may also be found in a home. Also, without any condensation, doors and drywall will be determined by your home. I just gave a list of things you may find in a home. If you have something that isn't on the list please feel free to add it in, don't let me block any creative flow. Just imagine that for no reason at all you have these list of items in your home at the time of the attack. Its granted that whatever you do it will last a week. Think of it like a creative/critical thinking exercise. I just would like to see what creative ideas people can come up with. Go crazy and use whatever you want as a weapon, barricade or what not. I'll reorganize the page so we can add our ideas can be placed directly on there since threads are limited to their content space. P.S. If its the consensus of you guys to have a template home, spraymachine has given me a link to one. If you'll message with the subject line "Add the template" and I get enough people to ask for it, I'll go ahead put it in the page. Apr 22 2008, 4:01 PM EDT I kind of cheated with my home defence. Talon and myself put down a 13 ft x 42 ft deck.. The deck boards are held down with a lesser grade screw. Ifneed be I can pop the 2x6s out with a crowbar for defence, firewood, emergency shelter, whatever. Nails and screws are a given, we are always remodling the house. Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 24 2008, 9:49 PM EDT My dads a carpenter and nails are for solid fixs and are quick strong(FI- several strong kicks even on a small board) screaws are hard as hell to get out, not something you can easily kick out Do you find this valuable? |
