This list doesnt make sence
May 7 2008, 4:05 PM EDT The only way to do some thing like this is to get people in the same area to get together now. Then each group can figure out who does what. The group can also get together and form a relationship and trust. We can watch movies, discus survival ideas, discus books, and even go shooting, and train in tactics and fitness. I live in Coldwater, MI so any one interested E mail me my address is in my profile. I'm only 5 miles from Indiana line so look me up on the map and if your interested we can form a survival group, that will benefit all involved.. 4 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

And if you're gonne make a squad there will be government issues because after a While people will hate thier jobs. You should be thinking about a good form of government rather than rolls. May 14 2008, 3:21 PM EDT Agreed. On top of that, Im the only one in oregon. Survive long enough to form a group, then worry about roles. I would suggest that you make yourself valuable by learning before hand survival tactics, or carpentry skills, stuff that will be good to know, thus making you more likely to be protected by others. May 22 2008, 6:32 PM EDT Question. Your Medic unit is full. Who decides who gets what spot? I'm an EMT and been a fire fighter for 32 years, and because the spot is full I become a cook? Hey, I like to cook and can cook for large numbers but wouldn't I serve the unit better as a medic? Do you find this valuable? |

May 22 2008, 10:02 PM EDT Seems a more realistic approach will be that people that can do different jobs just will. The reality is that a full scale rotter invasion will leave many people dead or disorganized. You will get out with a motley crew of survivors. Not everyone of us theorists will live. You will be a leader if you can lead, people will naturally follow you (like it or not). You may be the teams medic and all your experience amounts to is staying awake in health class. Train the best you can in all areas, and you are more likely to survive. If you can patch me up, find me food, get me a car or just pop a rotters skull at 500m, Ill be more than happy to watch your back. But if you got no skillz, and theres only 4 seats in the car, you probably won't get first pick. Besides, girls only want guys with good skillz! Do you find this valuable? |

You get so excited and scared you fired your gun and miss, fire again and you hit it's shoulder it keeps coming. You hit it's leg it keeps coming. Than you FINALLY get one lucky shot in the head, you realize you weren't paying attention and you get jumped from behind. Yes learn as much as you can and more. Turn yourself into an Ultimate Soldier. You will never be prepared for it. NO ONE WILL!! Nothing like this has ever happened, and you will not know what to until it does. No one will....
