Wrist Locks
May 12 2008, 12:03 AM EDT As a lifeguard we had to take defense classes to escape holds and locks in case a panicked victim (not too dissimilar to a zombie) tries to attack you while you're rescuing the person in question. Granted you wont be rescuing the zeds, but breaking a wrist grab is essential if you want to get out of a sticky situation. Twist your arm to put force at the gap between the thumb and index finger. Use this technique like a fulcrum so that your attacker looses its grip on your arm. This will work every time. It doesn't rely on nerve points. Its physics plain and simple so it will work on a zombie. 7 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |
