Military vehicles

Military vehicles should be in their own category. Only in the movies can one person drive and shoot. In reality they are crew served. They also require training to operate. Yes, I am sure you could figure out how to drive one, but to use the weapon systems... best not to just start pushing buttons. In the 5 minutes it would take you to figure out how to raise the ramp on a IFV, you are DOA (ish). Also, some of the older stuff like M113's (APC) used special gas - good luck. That being said, something like a Bradley IFV or a Stryker would be high on my list of goodies to get, even if it just ended up being a defensive position with just enough gas to keep the weapon systems active. 4 out of 6 found this valuable. They should also have their own category just because of the shear number of diferent types. There are military clubs all over that a tons of vehicles. I liked the looks of the British Ferret.

Dedicated militry combat platform and “up armored” vehicles should be placed in a wholly separate category as “Domination and Devastation” (taking back your sandbox); As the outbreak first iterates, you are NOT going to try to find an armored anything, you’re more likely to jump into your Prius (or Tempo, in my case) and drive like Hell until you think you’re safe, run out of gas, or crash, whichever comes first.

With Effective vehicles against Zombies, I'd say there are two we are missing: a combine harvester and a bulldozer. Why?Combine Harvester: relatively easy to come by, if you find enough, you can take on half the horde of your country. However, this tactic would only be good for open spaces. BullDozer: relatively easy to come by. if you have the time, you can turn it into a rolling fortress: http://scottthong.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/monsterisraelibulldozer1.jpg http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1/xtopher42/Blogging/killdozer8vh.jpg but meh, just suggestions Do you find this valuable? |

Wouldnt tanks and other armoured vehicles be just about useless against zombies, they didnt seem to work to well at Yonkers in World War Z did they and they even had air support.

3 main vehicles would best suit Z DAY is the LMTV,PLS/LHS AND THE 915 ALL HIGH off the ground some are armored with 2 inch or more of steel and bullet resistant glass if the vehiclesc break down they would make the best tomb ever theyll never get tought that most of the vehicles can take a hi from a IED and limp away zombies would waste away trying to get to u plus any national guard armory might have a motor pool to grab some wheels from u only need a crew of 2 to operate the vehicles if u want to have a nother the gunner thats fine to
