on this thread I would like to hear a little about what you moderator candidates think qualifies you for this position and how we can depend on you. lets keep it clean in here because I dont see the point of a smear campaign.

"You first."As an administrator my job is to keep the home page current so that it appeals to new members, keep the monthly discussions current and cover the things that are overlooked on this page. to do this I will be needing a staff of moderators who know there jobs and understand the meaning of teamwork. I believe that my leadership skills will be able to bring you a team that is cohesive, and able to execute the task at hand. I hold my groups to a high standard as moderators so that the people of this wiki can enjoy every aspect of Zombie survival posted on this site. this means never looking at the same homepage for days at a time when you log-on, always enjoying new media content (videos, pics, audio) and not having to survive the wiki itself by choosing sides in a heated debate. within this wiki you should be able to find everything you need without running across a bunch of grown men arguing over petty theory's. most of you moderators will be able to enjoy the fact that I lead from the front instead of barking every time something isnt done. "Your turn"Logistics isn't a the most important role, and I'm not a very good essay writer, so don't expect anyhting too much.And I will try to make it a little humorous. As the 'admin' of the complaint department, my job is to read through complaints, and help make the site more apealing and helpful to new and old users. To do this, I will need maybe on or two more people to help me. Other than that, I don't want to repeat what Alicestar said, as what I do is partially what he (?) said that is what the admin does. Vote for me, and...dude, you stole my saying... ANYWAY, Vote for me and...there will actually be a complaint department!! And free cookies! : )...if I win... I am running for external affairs because i haves the ADVERTISING power! I am a major member on several forums and have convinced at least 3 of my friends to become major members of the site, i know cylon is one of them i dont remember the others usernames... zmbie fighting is my passioon and i will make sure it is the passion of others too.

i running for internal affiar beucase i want to help the wiki im on all the time and im always giving advice to people, 13th.Casualty know, im only want to help the wiki and i will promise to keep the main page updated and keep good topics and debateable topics where they should be on the main page, unlike the problems we resently had1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Sup. I am The Thirteenth Casualty, running for Internal Affairs. Well, I'm pretty good at organizing and keeping things in order. Heck, if my cousin knew about this site and my campaign and could testify, I'd have already won in a landslide. I'm not necessarily your though jock #1 kick-ass Rambo zombie hunter, but I get by. I have basic knowledge and skills, and everytime I find myself in an enclosed space, I look for the nearest thing I could pierce a skill with.Man, you'll love me. I'll make it really easy for you to find the page your looking for, and I'll come up with articles and new features on the site. Heck, I'm already thinking of "Quote of the Week." I always have. Just check out my profile. As a closing, I'd like to say good luck to SuperSoldierRCP. He does give incredible advice and I'd definitely let him on my team unless he's infected (Which is highly unlikely. He knows so many things about survival it scares me.). My name is L******, but you may call me L for short.I don't have a catchy phrase, or an uber-cool picture, but I do have what matters in politics: ass-kissing power! Just kidding. This is why I'd be good for Logistics: I have conflict resolution skills from my years as a peer-mediator in elementary, which allow me to peacefully resolve many fights (at least many of the fights that I would expect to occur on this wiki) so that a win-win situation is the outcome. These skills are vital to anyone hoping to run for Logistics. I will listen to (well, read) any complaints given to me, and consider each carefully, no matter what the magnitude of the charge is. I feel comfortable dealing with simple matters like name-calling on my own, while with things like misinformation I will contact experts on the matter, and with more serious things like threats I will contact the other people in power. I have a system, and I will solve your problems. So yeah, vote for me. 3 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Filled With Much Iron!"In my real.whirrled I help or Admin three busy boards, post on half a dozen others within my interests and passsions. Along comes ZombieWiki... Now I am really hosed for time as I try to find more so I can participate here. Being a really old mangy bald adult in a room fulla younsters, many whom are younger than my current selection of socks, is interesting. Zombie crunching in cinema, fiction, and writing has been damn fun for me, participating in things here has taken some getting up to speed on my part. Careful Moderation and Administration helps keep the house clean and useful for those of we who don't have the capital timewise to hang here "enough". Find it important that keeping spamazzes and stoopd fools under thumb, or just tossed back out the front door is an important function. Happy to find folks who desire to give a damn, and in turn work hard. You are appreciated from the desk of this mean_old_man. SnC Do you find this valuable? |
