Oh, right, and...

Sorrow (Bad Religion), but only after the last massed-fire operation has ceased, and the flamethoweres, single-fire shotguns, and mallets have been brought out...

I would like to suggest any Death Metal, but Slayer, Chimaira, Arch Enemy, and Dimmu Borgir are my personal favorites and are heavy enough to supply adrenaline without zombies attacking you. Stick some earbuds in, put on some screamo and get raging! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

also I would like to note anything softer than Metal and its various sub-genres probably isn't going to work, you know, like Muse? RHCP? Bon Jovi? Ain't gonna cut it folks. You need to be angry to chop heads. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I'll be running at them with my mace screaming, "Death!" over and over again.

Or, if I do play music, I'll be playing something soft to keep me calm. The last thing you want is to be angry and emotional when you're in dangerous territory.

no, you want adrenaline rushing, the smartest thing would be a light armor or spaneks with grooves for the earphones, and something so heavy the notes have actual weight(sorry for any spelling errors, not useing firefox)

Getting angry makes humans irrational, and our rationality is one of the few advantages we have over zombies. One that we cannot afford to lose.

Adrenaline will be in abundance in your system from the simple fact that you are killing zombies, so you really won't need music to up the level of it. Some nice, soothing music will help keep you calm so you don't do anything stupid, like go and search a building by yourself or try to fight ten Zs with a baseball bat.

Something that has a hopeful tone to it will help keep your spirit up, while something with an angry tone will make you frustrated, something that you really don't need to be when you're surrounded by zombies. So something silly (example: something from Veggie Tales) or hopeful (like "Friday, I'm in Love") wouldn't be a bad idea either.
