If you listen and look carefully, you hear and see some salutes to the previous dead movies. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, here's a rundown;
TV report from "Night"
SWAT team sweep from "Dawn"
Acid zombie head from "Dawn"

Also;
Simon Pegg-British Newscaster
Stephen King-Crazy preacher
Guy who made "Pan's Labyrinth"-Spanish Immigrant

well i don't remember the acid zombie head your talking about in dawn. However i will add some things you probably missed.

I don't remember the actors names but the gay guy in the Dawn remake was Samuel the deaf Amish beast. And tucker from the remake was the guy who handed out the guns the team got just after they killed the acid zombie.

and the part where Ridley became a zombie kind of reminded me of that seen in the original Dawn when the pilot got bit five times and turned. Since he was a friend of them and all. And when the blonde girl shot her boyfriend when he came back also reminded me of a scene in Dawn. Do you find this valuable?
