Ghillie Suits?

Have any of you ever worn one? If you have worn one then you would know how cool it is when someone just walks past you and not even seeing you there. Know what are you gonna do if you are in a very grassy area, unarmed and theres a shitload of zombies coming your way? If you have a ghillie suit with you the just hide in the grass and crawl away slowly. Which is why I am totally going to take mine on Z-Day. For those of you who don't know what a ghillie suit is look here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghillie_suit 5  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?

The problem with that is, they smell the life in you. Going on the knowledge we have right now, they use their senses far above what we do. Vision isn't their primary -- on the contrary, scent and sound is the key. That Ghillie suit won't protect you from an undead any differently than it would protect you from a bloodhound sniffing out your position. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I smell a COD4 player nearby...No, the Russians do not constitute as zombies, nor do their tanks.

Along with the other factors pointed out, if you have to quickly move into a urban environment you have zero camouflage whatsoever at that point unless the city's been overgrown with foilage...

Hopefully not zombified man-eating plants like in the Resident Evil series....You'd do well to start break-dancing in either event; at least you'd trip a zed or two or avoid a zombieflower's tendril a couple times before they gobbled you and your ghillie suit up....In summary you'd best not bring it and wear some BDU's/ACU's for the camouflage effect instead....Camo works only on humans anyways.....I've had people walk right past me in the forest with my BDU's and facepaint on before.

I have to agree with the other post,as well as it has the potential of getting snagged on obstacles at the most inconvenient times perhaps trapping you if not careful...as far as camouflage goes the human eye is not very sharp at picking out patterns.I have deer hunted here in Missouri for years and to my suprise people will walk right by me,damn near on me even though I was wearing a blaze orange hat and vest.Untrained eyes just don't see that well...It's usually sound or movement that alerts attention. You seen to have over looked one major factor. Even if the zombie didn't see you, imagine you've been in the woods surviving for days without a shower or even a wash, they'll smell you a mile off. Regardless of whether you believe zombies might have heightened senses even you bog standard human can tell when someone nearby wasn't seen a shower recently. Do you find this valuable?
