Fancy weapons and all
Jun 19 2008, 5:09 AM EDT Well, some "exotic" choices out there, hope you can find one when it hits the fan..... Me, I got a mossberg 500 not ten feet from me, alongside my WASR-10 (Romanian AK for those who don't know) and more ammo and magazines than I can carry. I have two 9mm handguns, a Ruger P89 and a Beretta 92FS police special, both with holsters and each have 3 15-round MAGAZINES (I hate the incorrect usage of "CLIP". A CLIP is something completely different, look below.) I would also grab my Mosin-nagant M44, which I have done some custom work with; The action is bedded and barrel is floated using fire retarded burlap wrap, and an intermediate eye relief burris scope, for the longer shots should they be needed. I have several stripper clips for that, for easy ammunition loading. Its accurate enough to 300 yards for humans/deer, maybe 150 on a zombie head. Along side this for a couple more, my brother's SKS with Tapco fusion setup and 20 round detachable magazine, a Ruger No.1 25-06 for someone who thinks they can snipe (god knows that rifle is more accurate than anyone I know could possibly take advantage of) another mosin nagant, but its an m38 (carbine, no bayonet) and a few .22 LR semiautomatic rifles for the girlies and less experienced. I collect firearms; I am working on getting my FFL 03 Curio and Relic license, no more paperwork on the WWII guns y'all....haha. Along with this all I have canned rations should any major catastrophe occur, 4 finn made gas-masks with extra filters, backpacks and the like out the wazoo. We camp alot so that's all covered. If you're in the Saint Louis area, feel free to hit me up when they come, I got spare guns and ammo. No wusses though. 5 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |
