Four years Marine infantry, two of those as a sniper. I hope that's enough to deal with Zack! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I was in the Army for 6 years and qualified expert on pistol, rifle as well as long range rifle. And i've keep on shooting and maintaining proficiency after i got out. I also own a variety of weapons from extreme short range to long-range.I know come Z-day you won't be able to learn it overnight nor will you be able to go down to the local gun store and pick it all up...

Sadly, I only have the experience of shooting a low recoil (.410 bore) shotgun every now and then, and roughly the same frequency with a Taurus PT100AF... Do you find this valuable?

ive shot all my life. I have 5 years of infantry under my belt, qualified expert each time. Was an SDM for a while. A lot of training in SRM and CQB. The military has trained me on m4, m16, 249 240,m14,m24, m970, m500 m9 and recently an m98 (it was really short and not too in depth) and I recieved training on the russian counterparts while in mongolia (AK,rpk, pkm).

My grandpa sells guns to the police, and I grew up shooting all kinds with him, he particularly is fond of ww2 era weapons, so i shot most of those, never got to shoot the mp44 though :(

On top of that, I just love shooting :D

Very little, though i am recently training myself with handguns that i own and shotguns. This might not be a firearm but i have trained with a short sword for a few years. I have since i was once mugged which was about 2 years ago.

The only formal training I have qualifies me to use the C7A2. In the future I'm considering joining a boarding party which will qualify me with the MP5, Remington 870, the C8, and the Sig Saucer. Hopefully (and I'm praying) that will include the G36C by the time I join, I seriously doubt it though. Do you find this valuable?

I have little formal training, but grew-up shooting guns. I have worked as a hunting guide in Alaska for 3 years. We mainly used Remington 700's in .338. I still have mine and shoot it regularly. I have a C.C.W. permit and carry a snub nose .357 S+W. I have 23 personal guns, and right now 247 that I sell at the Flea Market and Gun Shows. I shoot every 2 weeks or so. Eleven years Army Infantry. CQB, Sniper, Mid range, etc. Enough trainging for Z-Day? There is never enough to be had. If you don't remain proficient and refine your skills constantly, then they deteriorate. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

"So, auto shotguns and pump-action shotguns, pistols, etc. all had to be handed in... you can still get them, but the gun has to be registered, the shooter has to be licensed, and needs a shooting permit. I'm not old enough to get a shooter's permit, however my dad has one. I also like to think I'm an alright aim... lol."
for those of you who havnt taken a combat pistol class or had combat experience you might want to look some up even if its just for fun. there is alot to learn about posture, trigger catch and release, speed reloading, tactical reloading ect ect ect........ give it a shot if you ever get the chance. its worth it in the end.

I have been shooting since i was 5. I lived in British Columbia, and went hunting often. I shoot my bb gun all the time and airsofts, only in spare time when i'm not firing real stuff, also, i play a shitload of halo and Call of Duty. JKJK. But seriously. I've trained myself to have a very stady hand, to reload and take care of my guns, and i've trained myself to be able to shoot a gun exactly where i want to without actually looking down the sights. I just quickly do the math in my head and calculate the proper angle and fire, and the bullet goes where i want it, and ittakes me a fraction of a second. I think i'll last a while. P.S. Does anyone with handgun experience find the same thing as I do? You don't actually have to look down the sights (maybe with a new gun, until you get used to it), you just know where it's aimed at automatically, and know where the bullet will travel? Or am i just a freak? 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
