Jun 21 2008, 5:58 PM EDT its been thrown out there before..anyone consider it? i mean their cant be that many people there. if even 1/2 of people on zombiesurvivalwiki make it there and bring supplies it would be amazing 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 21 2008, 6:20 PM EDT Alaska would be a good place as far as pure evasion goes. This issues are of course the weather and ability to farm as Supersoldier mentioned, but it's a very rugged place to try to live beyond that. Depending how far you north in the state you go, you have to deal with apex predators like Polar Bears - and they are NOT afraid of humans (they will in fact hunt and eat humans). Depending on your gun, you may even crack the barrel if you try to shoot in defense or for food b/c of the hot/cold differential. Perhaps a main base in the more hostile climates with expeditionary forces going back and forth to gather supplies in more temperate zones (as well as to sow, maintain, and harvest crops in said zones) would make it work better - but that's putting a lot of faith in a lot of people (a) not messing up and (b) everybody doing their part. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 20 2008, 12:31 PM EDT We don't have to go into the deep frozen tundra or anything just stick to the temprate areas of alaska. cause it's not like there is alot of people there in the first place so taking any town as our own would work fine most "cities" in alaska are only a little bigger then your averege town anyway. Hordes of Z's won't even be our first problem the main problem would be shelter from the cold, then food, Water won't be a problem cause we can just melt snow, if we have to we can just build greenhouses as long as the weather doesn't blow them down we should be fine also instead of all of us joining 1 huge group we should split up evenly so in the event of one of our bases getting attacked by Zombies or Raiders not everyone will be destroyed Do you find this valuable? |
