Aug 15 2008, 2:42 PM EDT dude i am 15 and my friend and i together own at least 75 different weapons to kill someone and as long as pre-teens prepare for an inevitable zombie invasion i think they are okay. Cause i mean who is going to check for ID at a gun store when everyone is dead??? no one thats who. so in the end, some pre-teens have a chance but the ones that are too scared should join a group to stay fresh Do you find this valuable? |

Aug 16 2008, 12:45 PM EDT Zombie_David and all.. Learn the Scouts manual, mind and hand, long before Day Zed and The Panics. Knowing how to live off of limited supplies, keeping quiet, staying clean, and knowing how to find and use water sources when the world has gone crazy will help save your hides. Guns and ammunition are *a* part of a post Zed world, but hopefully not a huge amount for you and your fellow survivors. Knowing the "W's" of outdoorsmanship will go a long way to help ensure that where and whatever situations you find yourselves in, you'll have abilities and skills required. Good sharp folding knife, length of cord, water, firestarter, and a compass takes up little space in pockets of daily wear. Stay in habit of holding your pocket gear until it becomes *natural*. When shit_happens, you have the minimal amount of gear to gain more things including food. You don't need to spend huge amounts of money to stay prepared. *Out* *EOM* Do you find this valuable? |
