"The regular kind of oatmeal, not the instant processed kind, will last for at least ten years, if kept dry. Put a small bag of silica or other water-absorbing agent into the oatmeal containers. I use Tupperware, bought a ton of them from my neighbor who got out of the biz. If kept in the dark, cool and dry, Tupperware will stay sealed as long as the Oatmeal stays fresh. Oatmeal can be made into breads, etc., so it is one of the largest commodities at my BOL."
