Could a type of malaria cause zombie risings.

I was reading about this new type of malaria hat reanimates the heart and brain. The weird thing was the sideefects were increased anger, loss of intelligence, loss of memory, and increased strength. Lucky it was in a third world country. If it gets out were screwed. 9  out of 15 found this valuable. Do you?

It wasn't real, did you read about it on a fake BBC page? 3  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Either way, let’s hope it can’t be transmitted that way.
If it can, we’re all dead already and this- All of this- Is a wasted exercise in futility.

If you dont already know symptoms to these viruses should be looked at more carefully, your basic hollywood "living-dead" zombie is the least likely to become a reality seeing as there are no viruses that bring any sentient being back from the dead. Now your 28 days later style zombie, sadly is the most likely because if you look at rabies and similar viruses and the effect they have on the animals they infect.Viruses have been evolving since they even beganif rabies was to some how transfer to humans the strain could alter and boom.....you got your outbreak you've all been speculating about.Imporbbable.Yes.Impossible?...No 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Just to prove that Malaria doesn't trun you in to a zombie is this.. Me I had Malaria twice while I spent 4 and 1/2 months there. So its not true. I do agree with Scottish with that being more likely but I don't consider the 28days later monster as Zombies due the fact that the slowly die when they couldn't find food. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. "No one has all the answers yet".

Gentlemen, be reminded we are still investigating best we can what transmits and in turn may cause the human animal to "go all Zombie".

Vectors such as airborne, vermin, insect, are all potential problems. Mass attack by those so infected in any area where humans congregate *happens*.

Why do some escape the Infection? Why are some seemingly unaffected while masses of former humans writhe in the agonals of the Change?

We don't yet have THE full set of answers.

Keeping sanitary surroundings best we can. Working at ensuring that ANY outbreak of Infection be brutally and swiftly taken care of. Stopping obvious Unkle Zed and the Shamblers from entering our Safe Zones.

Do what you and your Group or Team must to stay safe in the Panics and aftermath will help ensure that you will continue to survive.

"FAIL!!!!" and in turn causing your head to explode will be "reward" for even slightly ignoring procedure that by necessity and unknowingness has to be made "on the fly"..

One certain thread we've noticed in Survivors is that they are vigilant, intelligent, and in turn strive. Far too many Humans who made it through the initial Panics failed the "Test" when they in turn could not clearly think for themselves, act quickly, gave up, or were brain eaten.

Be careful out there. Stay Alive.

I tend to believe that an out of control bio-weapon would be the most likely source of zombies. Evolution hasn't created anything similar, yet. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
