Jun 30 2008, 10:13 AM EDT please, please, please, no one ever wear a helmet come z-day. if you get bit and you're wearing a helmet, do you know how much harder that is going to make it for everyone else that is still alive? there is no way to get you with a melee weapon then and guns will be chancy. so unless you are going to be wearing a helmet that completely encases your head with no way to get it off if zombified so no chance of biting(which would totally ruin your vision then)don't wear a helmet, for all of our sake's 5 out of 11 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 8 2008, 11:23 PM EDT okay, ill admit that if you can guarantee that you cant be bit anywhere else, then it could be a good idea, but its so much easier for them to try to bite anywhere else, and since they dont exactly think too well, just because youre not wearing something on your head doesnt mean thats where theyll go first, they are just going to start biting Do you find this valuable? |

They are pretty useless against zombies, granted, but in the chaos of a class-4 outbreak, the helmet will protect from potential impact from falling objects or vehicle crashes, etc., as well as protecting from armed looters or sudden rebels within your group. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

If I get infected and there is no chance of a cure, bullet through the skull. I can't be certain I'll be able to do it though, so I'm trying to think of some way to do the dirty deed without any remorse. Maybe, a helmet-like object with a very sharp, long blade facing towards the center of the brain. If I get bit, I'd get a friend to bash the blade with a bat, pipe, or other blunt weapon, forcing it into my skull. If I'm the last man left, I'd just light up a blunt, smoke it to the roach, smoke the roach, and kill myself. Die in perfect happiness. Besides, while being intoxicated could cause you to have bad security, it is a good way to keep up morale, especially after a long day of killing zombies and loosing friends. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
