A novel tactic: Skin job shock troopers.

A novel tactic MIGHT be to use the skin jobs themselves; Collect an army of a few hundred, put them in a shipping container or something to control them, then release them on your enemies as shock troopers. 5  out of 8 found this valuable. Do you?

Not if you can harness them. Possibly using something like an electriv dog collar perhaps? I like Red's idea of fighting fire with fire. Do you find this valuable?

releasing them against other zombies? Oh, i thought you meant releasing them on other humans you didn't get along with.

Sounds like a big risk to keep a bunch of zombies nearby...there is always the chance of their escape and that then causes a problem.

But shock troops could also be animals (assuming the zombie cause is not cross species) such as mastiffs (it's worked in the past) Also, depending on where you are, you could lions, or tigers, or bears (oh my!) to unleash on whomever is attacking you.

1. I thought you said the fortress could not be breached by zombies!
2. Not when they come in shipping containers...

Excellent idea.

even if zeds make it into the lines, the damage will be insignificant. the zsdw is designed to handle that threat plus and I might put some AA on there just to be sure people like Andy dont have a chance. rabid badgers may cause a problem though......i hate badgers!!! Do you find this valuable?

You've seen SF ada posters right? Same thought get a couple of z's attach around head or shoulders release an wait till they are in a crowd then remote detonate?

What if someone could harness lik thousands, maybe even a million or two zombies, then could they break through?

Mr.Xeight: Crowleyj beat me to it, but yes, “Running Man” style remotely detonated collars would take care of your shock troopers, though you’d still have to take care of any survivor-ish residents.
dominickmagas: I did; Skin jobs have never been recorded to kill each other en masse, though I suspect they would.
Quickrace89: He said it couldn’t be breached by SKIN JOBS; He didn’t say anything about Normies, or skin job/normie alliances.

I thought some might have seen the poster. Ok, SF air defence post is a pic of a trooper in euther halo, with a claymore staped to the front of his helmet. That's what I'm thinking or a vest like in the movie swordfish. Maybe stick a numbered flag on thier back to know which one to detonate? Do you find this valuable?

Ooh maybe we ould color code them. It'll be nice to see pretty colors while people are being ripped apart and devoured by zombies :) Do you find this valuable?

First no it' not, color coding if quite useful, second of all someone mentioned something about tagging zombies for which one to detonate when they've amassed into an army, why not color code them? Like red for cannon fodder, black gets blown up, green just spreads the virus, etc. Do you find this valuable?

I dunno, it seems that the better thing to do with any zombies is to just kill them and get it done with. It seems like alot of work that does not help human survival to any real degree. Do you find this valuable?

It helps the humans controlling them. If I found out they could be domesticated, I'd be all over the market of zombie shock troops. Imagine the power... Do you find this valuable?

explosives use shock pressure to destroy an object, if the object allows air to flow freely through it (such as a chain link or rod iron fence) the explosive poses no real threat. about all your really going to do is alert everyone in the base to your presence plus, once the bridge is up how are you planning on getting the shocktroops past the moat?

Hmm... I don't think the skin job shock trooper technique would work too well against a purpose-built zombie fortress. Maybe against a poorly designed one, but not something like the ZSDW fort. Do you find this valuable?

Some movies have tried this ideal
Return of the living Dead 1,2,3,4,5
it only made things worse for all those involed
also the video game resident evil 2 there was a monster Mr. X or Tyrant in the end the only way to stop the problem was to use a nuclear bomb
If you wanted to use them find or make a type of bait lure them to an enmy fortress the make a whole for them to crawl in a start trouble
Never expose yourself or your group and especial never wharehouse the zombies as it this could become a major problem for your own fortress
