About 95% of these weapons are completely useless. The Raid bomb, Boom Stick, and Four Winds Shotgun are good ideas because, if positioned correctly and in the right hands, could be potentially fatal to Zack. However, the rest are't meant for annihilation. A frag grenae? come on. The chances of a shard of shrapnel piercing the skull and entering the brain are extremely low, maybe non-existant. Those are meant to wound soldiers and make them bleed or get an infection from an open wound. Zack is already diseased with God knows what, and can't be wounded that much, since their body is already dead. The propane tank IS prectical to an extent. The explosion could knock back the zombies, and make them crash into something, thus crushing the skull, or even make an entire building collapse on a horde of them. but the fire from a molotov, napalm grenade, and the propane tank, will do nothing unless their heads are split open and they have the brain revealed. yes, they would be good to use if you're trying to escape from Zack or slow them down until help arrives, but other than that, nothing really practical. hell, I'm not even sure if the Raid bomb would work against Zack! 1  out of 5 found this valuable. I agree with you except on two points. One, they can be used against human hostiles, and two, a frag in the mouth could kill a zed. Do you find this valuable?

I'd be very glad to test your theory that shrapnel can't pierce the human brain. You stand in shiping container, and I throw grenades in, then I'll ask you how your brain feels? okay. Do you find this valuable?

I'm not saying it's impossible for shrapnel from a frag grenade cant enter the brain. I'm saying that the chances aren't high enough for me at lease to risk it. Do you find this valuable?

¡LOL! ¡I love that comment!

Ok, Diablo-
You assume much, and your assumptions are going to get someone killed- It ain’t gonna be ME.
Even assuming your assumptions are correct, and I doubt it, hand grenades still create a pressure wave, which will knock the skin job to the ground, buying you time to escape, and probably injure them, like breaking legs, which will cripple them and make it 100% likely you can kill them with impunity.
¿Know why is it that everyone thinks you ‘have’ to kill each and every skin job on a single shit to the head? ¿Why is it I’m the only one who seems to realize that you can CRIPPLE a skin job and kill them at leisure? Maybe it’s because I’m a Coastie…

Maybe civilions think that because they want to seem more heroic than necessary, while people serving the country have already been labeled as heroes. I don't really know why i insist on killing a zombie with a headshot instead of disabiling it...I geuss i don't think of KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) Do you find this valuable?

I think of it this way. If you kill one zed before you get infected, nothing actually changes. The ratio of zombies to humans both decreases by one. Every extra zombie you kill is a bonus to cover for people who can't kill a zombie, or went down too easily. If you keep this perspective in mind, then eliminating the zombies becomes much more manageable, and if humans are outnumbered, killing extra zombies counts towards that deficiency. If everyone gets 5 zombies kills average, then humanity would be able to take on a zombie threat 4.99 times larger than the human population. Yes, I am cold, heartless bastard sometimes. If you cripple them you make it 100% likely you can kill them with impunity. They can sit there and suffer, while you cripple their buddies. Then you kill them at leisure. Hell, you could pour gasoline on them, and burn them off.
You STILL get rid of the skin job, they're STILL dead-dead, and- No risk to you.

I wonder if you can safely cook food over a zombie on fire... Do you find this valuable?

I don't mind crippling zombies, personally. I just enjoy the thought of killing them on the first shot. mainly because it takes much less effort on my part. kill the zombie now, not later.

Now, if I am not capable of killing a zombie on the first shot, I'll look at the next best thing. Mainly whether or not I can run, slow it down, or disable it entirely. In that order, mind you.

If I can't kill it, I run.

If I can't run, I slow it down so I can.

If I cannot slow it down, I might as well stop it from moving so I have time to think about my next plan of action.
