a pause feature for when the phone rings

the ability to save your game and carry on later

is multi-player an option?

Maybe have the game be a ongoing, multiplayer simulator? As you log in and log out, survivors are found and disappear, but they don't die unless they actually die, that way you don't lose a character for not logging on for a few hours.

Hmmm... I dont know about save feature cause there isn't going to be much of a story line, but your multiplayer Idea is pretty awsome. But for a pause feature...Durr :P Do you find this valuable?

You should be in a city with a large amount of respawning zombies, you should be able to free roam and kick ass, once you kill a certain amount of zombies, you unlock a whole new city. Do you find this valuable?

Also you need a strategy part. Such as food supplies and ammo. Do you find this valuable?

(PS you get my message on respawning?)

i dont think hunger/thirst should be implimented in the game. food/water should just heal health, water being rarer but healthier. legally, there should be a "quick phrase" option that allows younger players to say things that dont give out their information (if parents like the game=more players) blood should be toggle on or off because my computer sucks and that could screw up the framerate for me and parents like no blood. and melee shouldnt be degradeable.

The quick phrase could be turned on or off because nothing pisses me off more than people telling me what to say.
Also instead of a dead zombie coming back to life i think that it should die and respawn realisticly (near a hospital, mall, church) This would preserve the reality of the game having less zombies in less populated areas. Also zombies should have a sound factor meaning if you are in an area alone and there arent any zombies and you shoot a gun zombies within a certain radius will head towards your area also each weapon should have a different radius depinding on noise and power. Silencers could be found but are VERY rare. I got plenty more ideas let me know if you want to hear more.

I have an idea. zombies walk towards the location of the most recent gunshot noise. If you shoot a gun, and run away (quietly), zombies know that the gunshot came from that direction, and they cannot actively track you unless they see you.

Also, if this is going to be a top-down shooter, "Zombie horde 3" is a good game style. Although this game will naturally be more complex and complete. We can build barricades, have teammates, find food ammo and whatnot. We should be able to go inside buildings...

We need a sort of 'newbie area' that remains unchanged and zombie free. Preferably a small NPC-built fortress that everyone can run to if they absolutely need to... an option to walk/run. Running can only be done if you are carrying 40% or less then your maximum payload... we need to be able to over-load ourselves sometimes, but that makes our walking slower...

Um... running out of ideas... There should be areas that are very different from each-other. (suburbs, industrial, business, rural, etc.) um... weapons with scopes and such you will have the option to see farther beyond the immediate area of your character. If you are attacked then and there while using the scope, you automatically change to melee weapon.

Uhh... We will have an option to get better armor, and if we get to a certain configuration, we are immune to zombie 'bites'.We are still vulnerable to dying, but just not from zombie bites specifically. Certain vehicles are immune to getting bashed up short of running into a barrier. All vehicles need fuel.

We can have different starter packages for characters that allows for a slight boost in one activity "marksman, mechanic, martial artist, someone who is good at driving, scavenger, fast-running athlete, etc. or something like that...

Meh, ran out of ideas for today... you'll probably be able to use something of this, though.

How about the inclusion of something like reputation points gain them for killing Z's lose them for killing survivors
also if you added a system where you could be asked to go on missions like killing a certain horde or an alpha zombie (i have a post on that if you are confuzled by that) A diplomacy system for survivors you could have the newbie area where they start have them be in a military fortress which would explain the lack of zombies

still full of ideas PM me sometime

OK i have a few things to suggest for melee weapons u should add in a trench spike like those used in world war 2 for trench warfare, basically a bladed spike on a brass knuckle and for vehicles u need dirt bikes and atvs/gators(like off road golfcarts with a mini truck bed) Do you find this valuable?

Zyzzogeton, I think Flash might not be the best way to do this. First of all, there is an easier way. Secondly, the easier way I am so fluent with I can remake HL2. Its Game Maker, you may not of heard of it but its awesome. I can do multiplayer, pauses, saves, 3D graphics, weapons, AI, and I even know the name and caliber of every single gun on this world.

If you want, I could work on it in GM while you do it in flash, then we put both up and see which people like best?
