Great Place to Go
Jul 17 2008, 3:15 AM EDT
I remember going there opening day. Would be great spot to hold out. Plus they have a man made mountain that you could get on and and it looks at the main doors. The second floor would be a easy spot to hold out and get rid of the stairs. If zombie outbreak happens I'll meet you there. Do you find this valuable?

"The second floor would be a easy spot to hold out and get rid of the stairs. If you're talking about a mall, don't go there. Contrary to modern movies and books, malls aren't that defensible. And as for weapons, Has anyone here ever been to a mall with a gun shop? Didn't think so. In a mall your weapons are limited to baseball bats and the like. (No, Flatscreen TVs, chain saws, and cardboard boxes are NOT feasible) Dead Rising Glamourizes it and makes it look posible, but let's face it, it's not. And you can't tear metal stairs apart. If the outbreak does happen, I'm only going to meet you there to die or become a Z. Also, please note that I am not, in any way, trying to insult you, Soulful Slayer. Do you find this valuable? |

The Pa one (I've been to it) is actually one of the largest in the nation, and you can definitely survive for a while in that store. Do you find this valuable? |

the town im near has a scheels like that. the bad side and reason im not gonna go there, its connected to a mall food court (too many resources to secure that portion of the mall) and to the gunstore in the mall thing, this mall just defied logic! you can get a good amount of guns there and its next to the food court! (bloodbath for some psychopath who hasn't killed yet and is not on record.)

Guns as far as the eye can see. Just like the Cabela's in Minnesota, the clerks eyed me like I was insane. They are making one down by me, I can't wait! Do you find this valuable? |

The Lake view Mall in Battle Creek, MI has a Dunhams sporting goods in it that sells guns (single shot .17 up to s.a. AK's & AR's. with various shot guns including tactical, ammunition (even by the case), magazines, and all of the camping and other equipment you could need. Although I may scavenge there I wouldn't try to hold up there. There's to many windows, and to many ways in. It's also only a single story building. Do you find this valuable? |
