I was just wondering because I want to write it into my story (it's on my profile page if you want to read it, just click link) but I don't want to add something without fact cheacking first.

don't worry, I came up with another way to remote detonate the grenade. i had someone pul the pin, then place the grenade unde a flat rock, having the rock hold the safety lever down, and when the bikers in the story drove by, they clipped the rock, and the lever fell off and the grenade detonated.
