RE: possibly worse issue on z day
Jul 24 2008, 3:07 PM EDT then we are all doomed. Our food supply is compromised and we must all become vegan. A vegan diet is very difficult to maintain due to the lack of protein available. Nuts can help, but you need to eat a lot of them. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: possibly worse issue on z day
Jul 24 2008, 3:19 PM EDT There's no need for such drastic ation, same as every human won't be a Z, neither will all animals. Just hunt the uninfected ones, they should be easy to differentiate from infected (Z dogs in Resident Evil had bites etc.) Do you find this valuable? |

RE: possibly worse issue on z day
Jul 24 2008, 3:43 PM EDT True... but then again, there is an incubation time, right? Also, some animals that we can eat are naturally a predator. I am not going to kill an animal in self defence and not eat it. :P 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: possibly worse issue on z day
Nov 2 2008, 7:35 AM EST Well if it starts in humans then its going to take time to spread to animal's but i think there is a chance of it happening,If the virus/infection etc is spread through bites and blood and i think that a stray dog/pigeon etc won't sniff at a bit of dead zombie, surely eventually a dog full up with yummy infected meat would become infected? Personally i'm scared of mosquito's sucking infected blood and then giving me a bite :( Do you find this valuable? |

Nov 2 2008, 4:45 PM EST Livestock is generally isolated from the majority of the human population. It is very likely that the majority of cows/pigs etc would be uninfected, unless initial airborne infections affect animals. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: possibly worse issue on z day
Nov 10 2008, 5:42 PM EST Zombie mosquitoes and flies would indeed be one the worst scenarios imaginable (assuming one bite and you're infected for good). Zombie birds would also be a nightmare of Hitchcockian proportions. Imagine swarms of bloodthirsty crows, seagulls, pigeons, robins -- the spread of the disease would be exponentially accelerated. Defense would be near impossible, save for underground or other air-tight bunkers (and in those cases, you'd better be stocked for a LONG wait). 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Nov 10 2008, 6:28 PM EST I have to agree with Jack, if the virus jumps species boundries than we are all fucked. rats mosquitos Fleas they would all spread the virus wild dogs and wolves birds raccoons foxes they'd be everywhere. I mean come on can you imagine a zombie bear? or Lion? what about a 3000lb rampaging zombie BULL? Do you find this valuable? |
