A Flag

I think we need a flag, something to unite all survivors under.I had a few designs, just wondering if its worth puting any up here or if its a good idea. Any takers? 53 out of 55 found this valuable. Do you?

I have a suggestion.The flag will be a simple white one. In the center, there will be a black picture of a human skull with a sword going through it. Simple... That or we use a blue flag with a large white dot in the center. :P Those are my ideas 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

I think its a great Idea...can you show us your designs? because I think by having one flag we can be able to spot fellow members when z-day comes and that way we'll be less inclined to kill/avoid them. lol

I like this flag idea. I t would aid in finding freinds vs Foes and it should be easy to create. Beacuse if you can't make one we won't know. All designs should be looked at because we should all try to keep an open mind about changing the flag or creating one.

Perhaps have ZSDW written on it somewhere just to be sure it is a comrade. Raiders will hardly be on this site prior to the outbreak so they won't understand it

There are plenty of raiders on this site. Many people even declare themselves raider. But a ZSDW code would be nice, if only to know who you are dealing with was well prepared. Or, at least better prepared than average. Do you find this valuable? |

Agreed, the design REDDSON showed is nice, but if the idea here is to be able to duplicate it after Z-Day(which, if it's not is still a good idea), then a different design should be made. And given the rather Democratic streak going through the site, perhaps designs could be submitted and voted upon.I do like the idea of having something simple and easy to duplicate, and having ZSDW on it. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. I think the base of the flag should be white because it will be easier to obtain a large white cloth than a black one plus it will be easier to color in the colors on it should be red because for a lack of paint blood could be used i am assuming that there will be an abundance of this and it wont be too hard to get. as for what it says why not just put the word AID orFRIEND so other survivors will umderstand we are here to help. If we absolutely MUST have one- I submit AneglaB should choose one that any fool can make themselves with little to no effort with materials to hand (just in case they can’t make one beforehand).

3DayAsylum seems to have it. At least for a flag thrown together. Perhaps a slightly more complex design for really official looks, but since the flag is more likely to be flown in an emergency situation where supplies are limited, the simple one wins over a complex one.

This should work well in case you cant get your hands on the right colors. Also i have an idea if after the out break if you can get your hands on spray paint use the ZSDW symbol on the sides of buildings to let people know you are nearby because how far away can you see a flag unless you have a good flagpole that is unobstructed?
