Great Story!

A great piece of work, a very human lead person. Well written and esay to read and follow. It is a nice change to have a hero start off with many human faults, that makes it easier to feel he is a real person. Do you find this valuable?

Thank you, I have noticed that in a sudden disaster there tend to be two types that survive, the prepared and the lucky. Writing about the prepared would be boring, instructive, but boring. Writing about the lucky can be more interesting. I have been reading some of Robert Howard's short stories, not his fantasy but the ones about cowboys, sailors, and detectives. I tried to follow his style, at bit anyway. Do you find this valuable?

Very interesting start! I hope to see Bill make a few (if not a few more) genuine mistakes that have actual consequences. I'm tired of stories where the protagonist never makes mistakes, or makes mistakes that happen to lead the entire group to a well-supplied bunker. Do you find this valuable?

Don't worry, Bill is going to screwup, not fatally, but will be knocked back a few times.
