The Russians....
Aug 10 2008, 6:51 PM EDT | Post edited: Aug 10 2008, 6:51 PM EDT
How is it that I make a story about the Russians invading and a couple days later, the Russians start INVADING......I'm not going to say anything political since I don't know much in the reasons for the conflict and a Zombie site isn't the right place for a soapbox speech...

I just find it somewhat intruiging, that's all.

Whatever you do, DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING ABOUT THE WORLD ENDING WITH NO HOPE. Do you find this valuable?

"Whatever you do, DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING ABOUT THE WORLD ENDING WITH NO HOPE."
Now that'd be some bad public relations/use of my 'psychic' abilities on my part.....lol..Some angry Russian General would read the story and make sure it happened since it'd be a brilliant plan on their part.....So, I won't end it that way.....It never was the plan to begin with, thankfully....

Actually, I intend for the characters to live and the main protagonist and his girlfriend to get married in the Red Square. Yes, this story's gonna take some funky turns since all the characters are a a lot more Red than they thought....Stay tuned to find out why along with some awesome sniper sequences and a Soviet General turned Mr. X..

Heh, I must've been on drugs or something when I made the original story...Anyways, the new point of the story is actually partially informative...I'm taking Drewblet's ideas on Mall Survival [which he so generously allowed for me to use : ) and I'm going to put them into practical application along with other stuff on the site that pertains to the subject.. May help form up some ideas.

Dah, the link was fouled.

Good site nonetheless, I'll be using some info from there to help make the characters that use AR-15s more believable as well as those that use the AK along with other weapons.

Works still on this end.
Should go to thread at ARFCOM:

General » General Discussion » Gotta love Detroit, even the cops run away.....

Try it this way, see if it is findable. You might try cutting and pasting link, seeing if your browser will eat it that way.

Still didn't find it but my computer's known for insubordination....I think it has it's own mind....Don't ask. 0.0

I used to live in the not-so-nice area of Detroit; the cops have good reason to be afraid....

A neat spot indeed.

That site is among the most awesome for structure exploration photos that I've ever seen....The decay has a sort of beauty to it and post Z-day, there'll be plenty of it to go around!!

Surfing pics of abandoned city and industrial -scapes is moody, dark, often scary as heck best as photographer catches things.

I'll surf these pic sites when seeking inspiration for a specific storyline or short story. Helps "keep it real" when you can use actual settings to help build mind pictures that are accurate.

I've had people who've read my horror stories write and let me know that research pays off... "Man, I used to work in that building!" "Oh shit, I had NO idea there was industrial waste in my town! Until NOW!".

More details, lightly spread, much like a poison left on icing of wedding cake, goes down nice..

BUWhWHHWHhWWHHWHWHHAHAHA... Err, yeah, details..

Heh, I'm actually a very happy go lucky person despite my affection for all things not-so-happy....

Those pics on that site are choc-ful of insipration for stories involving decay and desolation...Too bad GLC is a very modern, kept-up place....I'll keep Abandoned-Places on the top of my list for inspiration on my Industrieality Projekt though ; )
