Maintaining your tools

Just noticed that there is not much info on maintaining tools, here is a link to a site on saws, they sell saws and saw maintenance equipment.

Files are good to have for sharpening axes, cleaning up chipped edges on knives and swords, taking off the mushrooming on hammers and chisels, and just general metal removal.

Another decent thought for threading.

Man has a hard time thriving sans tools of all kinds. Rust, age, wear, and plain hard use will render even better to best quality tools to uselessness.

As times permit, tools to make and service other tools can be found, sorted, stored properly, and used to keep almost everything needed functional.

Animal fats, those not used for soaps and medications, will do for general coating of plain steel tools requiring "oiling".
