From what I could tell they seemed about equal, on the balance. The MG-710 is the latest and greatest variant on the MG-42 technology. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

http://tinyurl.com/6hpgrrSon, "Beastie" and the MG3 I was partners in. Lafayette tripod and AAA sights. Owned a third fo gun. Got worth enough that our LLC sold it. As far as function and ability? Not many GPMG have the lead tossing-ness the MG42 and variants have. It does what it is designed to do and with ease and a deadly grace not many other belt feds have. Have yet to see another belt fed MG that works as hard, as often, and for as long without stoppages as the -42 family. If others have contra opinions, I'd love to hear them, the Big However is that they need be first hand reports, not "my brothers, sisters, dogs aunt, who plays COD6 Beta's mom's brother says.." opinion... Here is Beastie on the M249. This is a Post Sample Dealer's gun being shot to rags for kicks and giggles. "I don't date no dogs, man!!" :)Ask the young lady if she has any 7.62 starter tabs, all mine are pretty ragged and SARCO is out until next decade or so.. *EOM* 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
