WARNING: Controversial Subject Sep 2 2008, 4:01 PM EDT \| Post edited: Sep 2 2008, 4:01 PM EDT Guys, you may not want to hear this, and ladies, you may find it sexist, but the truth is, Humanity CAN survive without males. (It’s threadbare, but it CAN be done.) After the Apocalypse (of any sort), women will probably outnumber males anywhere from 3 to 1 to 100 to 1 (depending on the scope of the Apocalypse- the bigger the scope, the greater the degree of f/m disproportionality). Mother Nature even planned around THIS EXACT fact; Female sperm (father contribution) is fatter and slower because it has more protein; Ladies, when you put on weight and can’t shed it, blame daddy. It really IS our fault, and not your mom’s. The need for this is that it will last longer, and in a far more hostile environment, than your brothers. This continues long after gestation is complete (references include the infamous Donner Party fiasco). Male sperm is faster but has less endurance; The male of the species developed to catch meat. I even wrote a short story addressing this very ‘idea’ in which the females would dictate who married whom that, while speculative, was based on the little research that does exist in the field. (The essay never addressed the issue of who wore the pants in the family, it did specifically clarify that the females of society WOULD control the marriage strings.) In fact, here’s the critical passage: ‘(W)ith this same “baby panic” on their minds, women were more willing to share one man to perpetuate the species- But it was also VERY clear that once the doors were shut, the women ruled the home. Indeed, in some VERY candid interviews Dr. CATES learned that in most such families, it was the WIVES who choose who got “in” that family and who didn’t.’ (“Baby panic” is the name given to a short-lived tendency for committed homosexuals of both sexes to begin having hetero-sexual relationships until the number of children spiked- though not addressed in the article, this would have been roughly a year- breeding and gestation time.) Apperntly you haven't been taking your machismo supplements. Machismologist Mandel prescribes 3 hours of Duke Nukem, 3 hours at the shooting range with high-caliber assault rifles and 3 hours of driving a monster truck DAILY for three months...If symptoms persist, then 1 1/2 hours of Wrestling practice and 1/ 1/2 hours at the Gym will be added to the daily regimen as well... If you go on a starving, whoever outlast the other wins, woman would win because their bodies are made to store fat longer. I have a hard time thinking that the sex ratio of survivors would would be more off than 1.25:1. I figure some males will sacrifice themselves in some way for females. It could be that a male goes to hold off the 30 zombies while the rest get away or that the guy lets the girl have 2 bite for his one off of the last apple. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I'm a realist. If I take ONE of them out with me, both sides decrease by one. Assuming zombies are even with humans, the raitio doesn't change. If every LAST HUMAN ON EARTH takes out ONE zombie, then zombies will be severely depleted. Of course, every zombie you kill afterwards covers for a child, a noncombatant, or an idiot. Every other zombie you kill continues to cover someone else. Now, my odds of survival in this particular situation is slim, simply because my abilities do not cover essential items needed to survive. But I am DAMN WELL gonna take one of them out with me. Or two. Or three. Or however high the body count racks up. On another note, if your group has each member rack up a kill count of 2 zombies, then you have taken out a hoard twice the size of your group. Trust me. It all makes sense in the end. (Why this is so, we don’t know.) Some men may well sacrifice themselves to save wives/sisters/mothers/etc. That IS a recoded fact of history. Women tend to make the more rational decision about WHEN to run, and when to stand and fight. And yes, their bodies do tend to hold fat more closely than we do. (But that’s her fathers fault, which means it’s OUR fault our daughters hold their fat. So lighten up if your wife puts on a few pounds, ESPECIALLY if she wear the mommy pants… Or I’ll beat you stupid, and throw you over the wire…) IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT: These are broad statements, and therefore is not inherently true in all cases.
