with the workers and people with the know-how to operate the plants dead, how long will it be before the strain on the reactor causes meltdown? and I'm not just talking about an initial explosion. nuclear fallout would spread to surrounding areas on the wind. this is the last thing we want in an undead world, when the living dead should be our top priority. Power plants don't explode, they just leak the radiation outward since the stuff essential for an explosion isn't there..

Plus, fallout decays, so if we take the proper precautions and make fallout bunkers for our fortresses [another subject I need to address] we can wait out the few weeks/couple months for the fallout to become inactive.

This is why I need to make the NBC page I've been promising to make...-_-

the nuclear incident at Chernobyl happened in 1986 and the area is still too radioactive to support human life (although a few plants and animals have taken residence there) and the impact from the fallout is still being felt in other countries e.g. Britain 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

How could I forget about Wormwood? [translation from Russian]

AND I PLAYED CALL OF DUTY 4....Epic fail on my part XD

I haven't had the pleasure of Chernobyl's Radioactive duck soup, although it does exist.

Back to topic:

The threat of the reactors melting down is very, very serious and fallout bunkers only work against nuclear bombing anyways....the only thing I can suggest on that off the top of my head is to find some KI pills, wear a radiation suit+gas mask and try to find the devices that display the radiation in the surrounding area....Then avoid the areas that make the device go off as best as possible.

Well, while I submit vetting this subject (by those who know the subject) is a good thing, it HAS been given more than “some” thought; Gladimnottheonly1 started a page specifically for THIS subject. Do you find this valuable?
