IMPORNTANT: read before trying any defence tactics

So, this problem is in about every strategy that you will go on a roof/high ground/ anywhere OOUTSIDE your fortress to attract zombies and the kill them. Think about this, you two partners, good shooters etc and lots of ammo and such. Then you start to attract zombies. Few zombies are coming. You think that there will be few more zombies, like hundred zombies, no problem. But, then you see on the horizon; endlessly seeming horde of zombies crawling towards to your position. What will you do??? They will surround you in a matter of minutes? So you cannot escape your position. And you and your pals will probably die to dehydration/hunger Think twice before moving outside your fortress to kill. Things to consider= -How many zombies will come, and how fast. -Do you have the time to escape/fall back -Where you will fall back -Amount of ammo & weapons -Bringing supplies, food,water etc. -How will you escape? BIkes? Cars? Mobilized Anti-Zed-Fortresstanks? - If escaping with any fuel powered vehicle, how long can you go before the fuel runs out? THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU GO OUTSIDE YOUR FORTRESS!!! 15 out of 15 found this valuable. Do you?

oh... i did this and just after that recognized that agent green has said the whole idea....

I came up with a defensive tool to use on dumb zombies, you take a hard substance and attach pikes of wood or metal and have them stick out of the substance to act as a stalling device to hold zombies still so they can be killed.

Actually hand-held spear, as opposed to a throwing spear. Some large wild game had the habit of running up the spear and doing damage to the spear-holder. Bit of a problem, hold on and hope they expire before reaching you, or drop the spear and hope you can out run them, odds were against you either way. Do you find this valuable? |

No ones holding it and its my understanding of dumb zombies is that they just keep coming so if the material is strong enough you can kill them and burn them there and move on. I've actually thought of putting them in my camp's houses to defend doorways.
