Firearms after the apocolype
Sep 30 2008, 4:52 PM EDT Good page but not sure if you could get a p90 also the army cadets have bolt action SA-80's which will be handy as it will force the user to save ammo. They fire 22 rounds. Do you find this valuable? |

Oct 18 2008, 9:13 AM EDT You can get P-90's, but only from certain airports armed police, I didn't mention the .22 rifles as they have already been mentioned in previous post's, plus I haven't mentioned a lot of other miascelaneous firearms, like hunting rifles and shotguns asthere are so many types and people already know about these weapons. Oct 18 2008, 1:14 PM EDT "ak's... for one reason there effing everywhere!!!"I disagree, it depends on what country your from, what their gun laws are, and what their military uses. The only places that the AK-47's will be every where are 3rd world countries and maybe the US you might come across one and even Russian and Chinese military don't use them anymore as they prefer the 5.45x39mm cartridge. In third world countries the AK's you'll encounter are going to be worn out and in major need of repair. Do you find this valuable? |

Oct 18 2008, 2:48 PM EDT "after the apoclypse, if it ends the fact remains the guns will break and there will be noone making bullets."Well cared for and maintained guns can and will last for longer than a person can expect to live, or even several generations of a family. Bullets are easy to make, the cartridge case can be reloaded several times, black powder can be made and used in modern firearms. Primers are more difficult, but can be reloaded, and no I will not say how, very dangerous. Do you find this valuable? |

Oct 19 2008, 11:15 AM EDT "after the apoclypse, if it ends the fact remains the guns will break and there will be noone making bullets."That's not true, lot's of people around the world make there own homemade ammunition, whether it's a bullet or a shotgun sheel, after the apocalypse the tool's to make ammunition on a larger scale will be more readily avaliable, so we will have bullets. The same goes for guns, we can replace parts and build guns, as many people do today. Do you find this valuable? |

Oct 19 2008, 1:23 PM EDT I also would encourage as many of our UK brethern to obtain as much firearm training as they can. Scavanging weapons is one thing, but you need to know how to use (not just fire) your weapon. While I know options for training are severly limited, I would suggest the following options: -NRA of the United Kingdom if time and money permit -Military Field Manuels (many are availbile online) -Service in the British Military if you are capable and willing If all else fails, consult with a veteran on this page. Most of us are willing to help out. Do you find this valuable? |

Nov 20 2008, 3:03 AM EST P-90 is a dam good gun. i own one(really my dad does cuz he had to buy it for me cuz i dont have a class 3 gun liesnce) i have one alicestar has one i think and i think he'll agree GREAT GUN compact, light, good fire rate and stopping, VERY LITTLE RECOIL on full auto, collest part bullet eject from the bottem. ammo is a little tricky some times depending where i go but over all a great gun im my opinion if i could my colony military would have nothing but P-90 and 50cals Do you find this valuable? |
